Palliative Care & Hospice Services
At Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center, we offer palliative care and hospice services. Palliative care is any form of medical care or treatment that concentrates on reducing the severity of disease symptoms, rather than halting or delaying progress of the disease or providing a cure. The goal is to relieve suffering and improve quality of life for residents facing serious, complex illness. Our palliative care includes providing relief from suffering, treatment of pain and other distressing symptoms, as well as psychological and spiritual care and a support system to help the resident live as actively as possible. Hospice care providers deliver palliative care to those at the end of life. Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center partners with community hospice care organizations to provide necessary care services.
